by Brigit Thurstan 16 Feb 2016 19:13
Digital Literacy affects each and everyone of us as we live in society today. If an individual decides to ignore the digital side of society they will cease to be a functioning member of society, just existing on the margins, excluded and vulnerable.
Being digitally literate affects every aspect of our lives from functioning as a citizen, being social and communicating with friends and family to improving ourselves and discovering new things.
Being digitally literate is also about being proficient with common technologies, tools and techniques. The ability to use transferable skills. The ability to build on, adapt and learn new skills.
